Dr. Mohammad Habibpour is an economist and researcher in the fields of development economics and governance. He is a faculty member at the University of Tehran and holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Vrije University Brussels, Belgium. He earned his master’s degree from the University of Siegen, Germany, and his bachelor's degree in Economics from Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran. His main areas of expertise include econometrics, macro data analysis, nonprofit economics, fiscal policy, and the application of machine learning in economics.
He has served as a postdoctoral researcher at PSL University in Paris, where he also worked as the coordinator of the Governance Research Group. Additionally, he has been a visiting researcher at the Center for Social Impact Strategy at the University of Pennsylvania. Among his other academic experiences, he has taught courses on machine learning in economics at the University of Kassel, Germany.
Dr. Habibpour possesses high-level skills in economic data analysis and econometric modeling, with professional proficiency in Stata software and Python programming language.
